My husband and I were looking for a bakery to make our baby shower cake. We knew Freed's made really good cakes, because my husband bought a birthday cake for my mother and I a few years ago. When we arrived to the bakery, we were greeted by Jayme. Jayme, took the time to explain, how they do the designs, what kind of cakes worked best, Fonda versus buttercream, etc... She let us taste the whip cream frosting and the butter cream differences and guided us on which would work best for what we were looking for. All in all, our cake came out beautiful and delicious. It was everything we wanted for our baby boys shower! Bottom line is, if you're looking for a yummy delicious cake. Go to Freed's and visit Jayme. She was excellent and knowledgeable. We will definitely be bake for more future birthday cakes. Thank you, Jayme!
Love their cakes, macaroons, cookies and brownies! Stopped by to grab a few things for my husband's birthday. They never disappoint! Definitely a place to check out!
My son and daughter-in-law were getting married in Vegas and decided to have a reception for 28 people at maggiano's. However, they didn't order a wedding cake. I decided to try and order one to surprise them. After Reading reviews on Las Vegas wedding sites and Yelp, I decided that Freed's would be my best bet. I am so glad I was right! It was very easy to place the order online and put in a time for pickup. They also deliver, but I wanted to be the one to pick up the cake and bring it. A nice employee from the store called to double check that I was on my way because they were closing in an hour, and I assured them I would be there in just a few minutes. So let me tell you about the cake. I ordered chocolate with Bavarian cream and it was moist & delicious! Everyone loved it and couldn't get over how nice the design will fit with kitschy Vegas theme. I thought the price was really reasonable, too. This cake was the perfect way to end end a great wedding day. If you're coming to Vegas for your wedding and you want to order a cake, know that you can do so here and be assured of receiving a high quality decorated cake
My all time favorite bakery! I'll drive from California for that special cake! Thank you Freeds for making my son and daughter in laws cake so special. It was so tasty. We ordered the Bavarian frosting with white cake.
This is a pretty cool bakery. They have an office inside and a place to purchase right next to it. The staff is super friendly and helpful and never rush you through your choices! They have a whole display case with cookies on one side and cupcakes, cake slices, and cheesecake on the other. You can order custom cakes of all sorts or purchase a premade one. The cookies are basic and the cake and cheesecake were pretty good. Everything was fresh although a bit pricey. I like more variety in my cookie options and more sweetness in my cakes. This is a very European style bakery. It's a cool spot to go if you have never been, but for me I will only go back if I need a fresh strawberry cake!
I love sweets, I could eat all the sweets & Freeds delivers every time. I've ordered from here 3x for very important events I had going on and they have been consistent. I placed an order with Kennedy and she was great, right down to the details. The first order upon pick up I noticed that there somethings wrong (color issue&details) that did not meet my expectation and she quickly remedied the issue and gave me exactly what we were looking for which is really telling on how dedicated she is to customer satisfaction. Due to that response I quickly ordered another dozen cupcakes custom and they came out perfect. Both orders were picked up at the Freeds location on Eastern, I came early so there wasn't much of a line and plenty of employees servicing customers. I was in and out In Maybe 7min? Ambiance is like any bick n motor bakery. Displayed deserts, cakes, pies, cookies etc. Overall my experience with the custom cupcakes was great, communication, execution 10/10. Freed's Bakery absolutely saved the day! I came in this morning needing an emergency wedding cake for my brother's wedding happening this afternoon. The amazing lady who helped me (I wish I got her name!) went above and beyond. When I asked if they could put together a wedding cake on such short notice, she pulled it all together in about 15 minutes. I truly cannot thank her and the Freed's team enough. Exceptional service and kindness--11/10!

Bavarian cream and raspberry puree; it was basically dessert crack. Our daughter loved it, but the parent tax was REAL thang. Every time she looked away, I was 'inspecting' the cake for quality control. Honestly, I considered just invoking full parental rights and claiming the whole thing. It was so good, I'm convinced they sprinkled it with something illegal!
